RMIT Digital Media is co-presenting this show with MESS and Melbourne Music Week in early February next year at the Capitol Theatre. It'll feature audiovisual works for the Capitol's bespoke roof lighting system by our students, like I've shared here before. new short essay on design synthesis
The short essay I wrote for Designers Write is finally out! Here, I ask: is design actually capable of synthesis? Can design truly "sum up" problems?*
I also had the chance to discuss the text with Joeri Pruys, who read an excerpt of his father's book Dingen Vormen Mensen from 1972, Klara Debeljak, author of the Theory of the Chrono-ghettos, and Aynouk Tan, who moderated the conversation. You find the podcast on the website.

Good social media gives you community: it’s more like voice, agency, discussion, comradery.
